Sabrina van den Heuvel is not only a talented photographer, but also a woman with a passion for music and fashion. Her style is characterized by raw, moving black and white images with stark contrasts, which are able to tell a story and are therefore very dynamic.
‘Real moments of intensity’ - as the critics describe it.

To be mentioned is her fruitful collaboration with fashion photographer Iris van Herpen, thanks to whom countless striking black and white portraits such as of fashion designer Bas Kosters, actress Victoria Koblenko and journalist Jort Kelder were taken - as well as a vast gallery of fashion images.

Sabrina is inspired by musician/painter Herman Brood, musician Peter Doherty, ballet dancer/choreographer Vaslav Nijinsky, renowned designer Yves Saint Laurent, painter Paul Verlaine and poet Arthur Rimbaud.

I explicitly selected the above picture as it portrays this glamorous, intense touch and reflects the photographer's particular taste, all captured in one, gentle, warm hug - and oh! SOTINE's silver ring DASHA is part of it too.
